About Katycats Music List
Katycats Music List is a project that attempts to catalogue every song and album that Katy Perry had ever written, recorded and performed as a reference for Katycats and others to use and enjoy.
This project began with a list of Katy Perry's unreleased and unrecorded music on the now closed Katy Perry Forum website. The list also included Katy's discography and even her live covers. I was steviep24 on that site and was responsible for updating and maintaining the list. Many Katycats on KPF considered the list a valuable resource at the time.
Although the project originally began with a member known as Tomcat he had stopped visiting the forum a short time later. By the time Prism was released it needed major updates and I took over the duties updating and maintaining the list since that time. It had gotten so extensive it took up several forum posts.
The list, which contains a lot of rare and obscure songs by Katy, was last updated on the forum in March, 2017, about a month before it was announced the Katy Perry Forum website would be closed forever. Because it is so extensive I did the work offline and as a result I have the entire list saved on my computer. Katy Perry Forum closed for good on April 15, 2017 and I started this site soon after as a means to preserve the list for all Katycats and others to reference and enjoy for years to come.
The moderators from the old Katy Perry Forum recently opened a new website www.katycats.com of which I am now a member. I have shared a link for Katycats Music List on their site.
As Katy releases new music and as more information of her unreleased and obscure music gets discovered the lists on this site will be constantly updated.
Although I do my best to try to make the lists and information on this site as accurate and complete as possible I cannot guarantee their accuracy. The lists are provided as a reference as is.
Visitors to this site are welcome to contribute information to improve and update the lists on this site. If you have any information you would like to share or have any questions you may contact me by using the information on our Contact page.
Although Katy Perry Forum is now closed I will still give credit to the Katycats from there for their contributions to the music list that is now featured on this website. Many of those Katycats are members of the new katycats.com . Special thanks to Tomcat for starting it and SmackUTwice (the owner of www.katyhudson.ca) for all her information especially for Katy Hudson and many of Katy Perry's early songs.
